A photography exhibit dedicated to Val d’Orcia's unique evocative landscapes. The works by French photographer  Dominique Bollinger, can be admired from Saturday 21 March (5:30 pm) to 1 May at Podere Forte's “Spazio Se” in Rocca d' Orcia, open Thursdays to Sundays 12:00 noon- 5:00 pm.

Dominique Bollinger was born in Lyon, France, in 1950. Photographer since 1969. Since 1986 he has been living and working in Italy, in Monte Porzio Catone, a few kilometres from Rome. He has attended photography courses and run studios. He is the author of reportages in Africa, works in Paris, landscape and colour studies in France, Mexico, and the USA, and of projects on Rome and South Italy. He has stayed in the Usa. Since 1997, he has mainly focused on landscapes, architecture, and flower studios, with platinum print and fine art pigment printing on cotton paper. He has been working on “Roma e dintorni” since 2002 and, in 2007, he set off visiting churches in Rome for a new research on tourists. “FLEURS”, his second book, was published in March 2012 following “THE SOUTH”, 2010. In 2010, Dominique opened “Orcia Fine Art Photography”, a studio-gallery in San Quirico d’Orcia (Si), where he organises exhibitions and workshops from Easter to October.
